About the Journal
The Journal of Anesthesiology and Pain Therapy is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal that aims to make surgery safer by sharing evidence on how to understand and reduce the risks of anesthesia. It brings anesthesiologists, pain specialists and perioperative clinicians together around practical, evidence-based findings.
Its scope covers anesthetic techniques and administration, anesthesia across age groups and in patients with different medical conditions, preoperative assessment and postoperative monitoring, intraoperative complications, and acute and chronic pain management.
Published quarterly, the journal accepts original research articles, literature reviews, case reports, rapid communications, clinical images and conference proceedings.
The journal follows COPE guidelines. All articles are open access under CC BY 4.0 and receive a DOI.
